The EU needs oil and gas from the Caucasus as
the Russians are not much reliable and have other plans...

Turkish EU membership brings oil/gas/energy from other Turkic
countries in the Caucasus via Turkey, and many other
economic possibilities and opportunities for the EU in these
countless huge Turkic countries in the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Turkey's EU membership would make the EU the #1 economic
and military power on earth to get rid of the braindamaged U.S. idiots
in the world politics.
