Congresswoman Michele Bachmann recently accused Huma Abedin, aide to Hillary Clinton US Secretary of State, as being an infiltrated spy for the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). Bachmann says that the US government has been compromised by the MB and Abedin is working for “America’s demise”.

Bachmann pointed out that Abedin has “routine access to [Clinton] and policymaking.”

While her peers have been denouncing her claims, Bachmann asserts that her investigations into federal agencies has turned up conclusions that there is an obvious influence over intelligence operations with regard to foreign policy by the MB within the US government.

Abedin, who is of Pakistani decent, is married to House Representative Anthony Weiner who is Jewish. Weiner is aself-proclaimed Zionist , as he proudly stated: “Support for Israel was always a very big focus in my household growing up. I am a Zionist.”

Weiner has aligned himself with Morton Klien, president of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) and has continuously pushed pro-Israeli agendas on Capitol Hill while demanding that the US military assist Israel in fighting against any other Middle Eastern nation that is named as an enemy.

Both The US State Department and Senator John McCain are outraged by Bachmann’s comments; McCain calling the Congresswoman “specious and degrading” while the USSD stated the remarks were “vicious and disgusting lies.”

McCain is a member of the board of directors of the Soros funded International Republican Institute (IRI) which uses coercion of foreign governments to promote “US interests”. They strategically intercede with political agendas to ensure that other nations preform as the globalists would want them to and aid civil society in those nations to guarantee “good governance”.

McCain defended Adebin on a personal level, stating she is “hardworking and loyal servant of our country and our government. These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis and no merit. They need to stop now.”

Bachmann, believing that there is an influential Islamic element in the US government, has written requests for information in the MB. This “deep penetration” into the US government was addressed in Bachmann’s speech at the Washington summit of Christians United for Israel , a pro-Zionist group masquerading as an evangelical support for Israel. Bachmann spoke to the audience about the ties between Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood.

In April of this year, after Obama announced that the “war on terror is over” he inserted that his administration is working in tandem with the MB , who has been integral in the recent Middle Eastern uprisings. Placing Morsi into power in Egypt was a strategic move that the US has been known for; helping dictators like Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro, and others get into positions where their actions can support the US/Israeli agenda to control the Middle Easter region.

In celebration of the elections, Obama gave the MB $1.5 billion in foreign aid to the MB. Having a terrorist group in control of this prominent Arab nation is a big coup for the Obama administration. This bribe is obviously a clear indicator that the MB will do the bidding of the US covertly, while appearing to be against the US government on the surface.

The Center for Security Policy (CSP) comes into play as a Washington, DC globalist think-tank that promotes “peace through strength”. CSP believes that “military might and a belief in America’s national power must be preserved and properly used . . . [as] a unique global role in maintaining peace and stability.”

In translation: America is the ultimate military might, policing the world for the sake of supporting peace. How this oxymoron became a credo is suspect.

The CSP strategically works with the USSD, although they claim to be a non-profit and non-specifically affiliated with a political agenda. They force governments to:

Choose between supporting terrorism or their critical partnerships
Coerce corporations to invest in (approved by the USSD) designated non-terrorist groups
Advocate more military defense and nuclear weapons development for the sake of US by participating in UN arms control treaties
Develop the War of Ideas Project that interjects propaganda that supports international relations and control into policymakers and defines who is an adversary
Develop the Islamist Project aimed at singling out their predefined radical Islamic groups as terrorists, then creating fear-mongering around their new Boogeyman
Develop Security and Democracy in Asia Project that promotes the unsubstantiated claims by the CSP that geopolitical control must be obtained in the Asian nations at all costs.

Clinton, who stated publicly that she perceives Israel to be the 51st American state is focusing her talks with the Israeli government on the MB Morsi presidency in Egypt and the Palestinian “problem” that Israel faces.

Previously both Ari Fleischer, President George W. Bush’s former spokesman, and Matthew Brooks, the executive director of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), were involved in recent pro-Israeli events to gain American support for the Zionist movement. Fleischer asserts about presidential candidate Romney: “I don’t want to have a president where we have to wonder does he or does he not have Israel’s back. The choice is between pushing Israel around as President Obama has done, and Governor Romney, who will stand strong by Israel’s side.”

Obama has made his stance on Israel known well with his push for HR 4133 where he gives the Israeli government:

Full backing of US military for endeavors of Israel against her enemies
Unlimited funds from the Federal Reserve Bank
Special training and intelligence to assist Israel government in defeating their adversaries

Within the Israeli government, there have been drastic changes to the internal laws of the nation to provide for a concerted Zionist approach. This fact was causational in the decision of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition partner, Kadima, to leave the allied partnership.

The marriage of Israeli agendas in the Middle East to the military might of the US government is playing out as plans are being enacted against Syria and ultimately Iran in a move toward WW III.

In November, Israel and the US plan to hold a joint military training session in October of this year. Included will be military drills of thousands of soldiers and advanced anti-missile defense systems exercises. It appears to be coincidental that these “war games” will take place just prior to presidential elections in the US.

The two nations, who have become closer over the recent months, are planning to deal with Iran and Syria with as much aggression as they see fit.

A few military analysts have dubbed the drills a “dress rehearsal”, mocking the severity of Obama and Netanyahu’s campaign. Amidst the UN and US sanctions against the two Middle Eastern nations, there is a clear threat of military strike that would serve both the US and Israeli interests.

The preparations for an attack on Iran is being downplayed by the UN while the international community is escalating their claims that Iran’s supposed nuclear endeavors are a violation of treaties; as well as the Iranian government’s failure to properly cooperate with UN inspectors.

Bachmann, who is a supporter of CUFI and the Zionist movement, is preforming a part in the theater of psychological operations. The MB, who are poised to replace al-Qaeda as the next Islamic extremist group and Boogeyman for the American public to fear, are controlled by the Obama administration as part of their adherence to the Israeli/Zionist agenda. This fact validates Bachmann’s assertions that the US government has been infiltrated by a foreign entity. Media figures and politicians alike have demanded “proof” regarding Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s allegations that Huma Abedin has connections and family ties with the Muslim Brotherhood. It is understandable that many want to get to the bottom of this story regarding Huma herself. Many even demanded that Bachmann offer a public apology to Huma Abedin. Others watch the media and listen to politicians that provide short, nondescript arguments. An apology by Bachmann in this case is unnecessary since we have established what is probably the most extensive research done
to date on the matter; the readers can decide for themselves by examining the overwhelming evidence to see that in reality that it is Bachmann who is owed an apology and has a valid point to demand the vetting of Huma Abedin, the aid to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Bachmann’s focus was hardly on Huma Abedin, but the infiltration of extremist Muslims into government. An issue that was completely ignored is the level of importance that should be given to vetting government employees. We are sure that many will point to ‘specs’ of errors in our findings in an attempt to lead many to
ignore the ‘mountain’ of evidence we present. The fact is that politicians are responsible for causing the controversy to escalate. John McCain – along with other politicians – denounced Bachmann and demanded “proof” regarding such ties. Said McCain:
“The letter alleges that three members of Huma’s family are ‘connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations...these sinister accusations rest solely on a few unspecified and unsubstantiated associations of members of Huma’s family”.
Rep. Keith Ellison told Anderson Cooper on CNN on July 17th that:
“U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann’s allegations of a Muslim Brotherhood “deep penetration” of the federal government is “untrue” and a “phantom.”
We will prove beyond doubt that McCain, Ellison and the others are wrong. The evidence will show that Bachmann’s claim is not based on a “phantom,” “sinister accusation,” or “unspecified and unsubstantiated associations of members of Huma’s family.”

MEDIA / POLITICIANS VS. EVIDENCE

Honest researchers at times need to differentiate between what the ‘media’ and ‘politicians’ say, versus ‘verifiable proof’, which we will present in specific detail, by providing the facts, mostly from Arabic sources, both secular and Islamic, which the media and politicians did not research due to linguistic limitations. This is no excuse since they could have easily commissioned linguists to examine the Arabic sources or acquired what is considered common knowledge from Middle Eastern archives.
CNN for example, critiqued Bachmann by flashing a chart showing what they termed “six degrees of separation” between Huma and the Brotherhood. Their coverage was devoid of any sources or detailed information; Keith Ellison’s view was expressed without any being challenged by supposed experts on the subject.
CNN’s Anderson Cooper made a demonstrably false statement:

“As per Abedin’s mother and brother, Bachmann never gives any evidence of their alleged links to the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Bachmann absolutely did. We will begin with Huma’s brother, Hassan Abedin, followed by her mother Saleha Abedin, then Huma herself to conclude that: 1) Either no vetting process

On to evidence that shows how Saleha Abedin and her colleagues interact, connect and advance Brotherhood agendas against Western policies working with MWL and IICWC without a single degree of separation. But first some history lessons on the Sisterhood. The truth is that the Muslim Brotherhood is not the Taliban; female activism in the Muslim Brotherhood takes a leading role, which is why an entire division called the Muslim Sisterhood was established in 1933; headed by Lebiba Ahmad.
Contrary to what is said by western media, this elite unit is by no means a tangentially complicit “mule service,” made up of couriers who smuggle secret documents in order to more easily avoid the eyes of surveillance; neither are they made up of innocent women who don benign-looking “hijabs” as portrayed by Der Spiegel.
The Muslim Brotherhood means what it says and fulfills its mission for the Sisterhood. That mission is “to gain and acquire a unified global perception in every nation in the world.” It is an “advocacy work at all levels.”

Take Sisterhood leader Amina Jaber Aljaber who is a professor within the Department of Chemistry and Earth Science at the University of Qatar. She has a fascination for Brotherhood leader Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi and was eager to celebrate his birthday at the Ritz Hotel and share the podium with him. Jaber even became a signatory in a campaign condemning any of his critics. Despite Qaradawi’s anti-Semitic diatribes and support for suicide bombing, he is the most popular religious icon in the Sunni
Muslim world. He has become the international liaison of the Muslim Brotherhood. In a 2009 speech that aired on Al Jazeera, Qaradawi said the following:
“Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the [Jews] people who would punish them for their corruption. The last punishment was carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they exaggerated this issue – he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them. Allah willing, the next time will be at the hands of the believers.” Organizers for the Sisterhood are not unfamiliar with working inside the United States, which hosted Sisterhood male supervisor Abdullah Alnoshan the director of the Virginia office of the Muslim World League (MWL), a group with significant ties to al-Qaeda. Khaled Abou El Fadl is a UCLA Law professor whose resume includes an appointment by President George W. Bush to a position on the
U.S. Commission for International Religious Freedom. Daniel Pipes made the case as early as 2004 that El Fadl is a “stealth Islamist”. Despite his Brotherhood membership, El-Fadl’s books are being promoted by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which carries such titles as The Great Theft, Wrestling Islam from the Extremists. CAIR are also financial supporters for Keith Ellison. Alnoshan was finally deported on immigration charges but MWL’s financial arm, the defunct terror financing organization Rabita Trust, was initiated by former General Secretary of the MWL, notorious al-Qaeda godfather and an Abedin trusted partner and associate Abdullah Omar Naseef, who played an integral role in both al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. He also had close ties with the most intriguing member of the Sisterhood (Saleha Abedin), the mother of Huma Abedin, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff.
Though the MWL’s financial arm in the United States—Rabita Trust—was shut down for its terror ties, it still exists under the name Rabita al-Alam al-Islami; Saleha Abedin is a member of this organization, which makes her part of the MWL. The Anti Defamation League says the following about the MWL: “While the MWL has on several occasions condemned terrorism in general terms, it has a long history of providing financial support to terrorist groups or having organizational links to them, including to Hamas,
Abu Sayyaf group, Moro Islamic Liberation Front, Jemaat al Islamiyya, and Al Qaeda.”
This reality closely connects Saleha Abedin and Abdullah Omar Naseef as having been colleagues for decades without any degree of separation. Both are intimately involved with the MWL. According to September 11 Terror Litigation filed in the District of Colombia, Case # 1:02CV01616(JR):“274. On October 12, 2001, President George W. Bush’s Executive Order designated Defendant Rabita Trust as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist Entity and the Treasury Department froze its assets. Defendant Abdullah Omar Naseef founded the Defendant Rabita Trust in July 1988 and is currently its
chairman. 275. Abdullah Omar Naseef ( or “Naseef”) also served as Secretary-General of the Muslim World League during the time he created Defendant Rabita Trust and has attempted to spread Muslim World League offices around the world. Part of his global efforts are found in his involvement in a SAAR Network charity”.

IMMA
Several circulated articles in the West credit Saleha and her now-deceased husband, Syed Z. Abedin with co-founding the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA), established in both Great Britain and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Jorgen S. Nielsen (see p. 366) attributes the finding of IMMA to Abedin and Naseef as a supporter:
“Trained in social science and being of Indian origin, Professor Abedin (Syed Z.) was the founder of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, an institution that had the quiet but active support of the then General Secretary of the Muslim World League, Dr. Umar Abdallah Nasif.” The Arabic sources provide a different account. According to the Arabic periodical written by Dar Ibn Hazen, Naseef was actually the founder and the Abedins were entrusted with leading IMMA: “In the early 1970's, Sayed Z. Abedin came to Saudi Arabia for a one year visit as a visiting professor. Having been welcomed by King Abdulaziz University, which provided him the means to create a
scholarly program regarding Muslim Minorities. Dr. Abdullah Omar Naseef, the Dean of King Abdulaziz University then envisioned the creation of an academic entity called the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA), under the management of Ahmed Ba-Hafith-Allah, who was the General Trustee for the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY). Professor Sayed Z. Abedin was encouraged to supervise the Muslim Affairs and served as the IMMA's chief editor.” The connections between Ba-Hifth-Allah and WAMY are quite extensive as well. This places Naseef at the center of both the IMMA and WAMY, another group with multiple connections to Muslim Brotherhood entities. According to Discover the Networks, Osama bin Laden's nephew—Abdullah bin Laden—incorporated WAMY three blocks away from where four of the 9/11 hijackers lived prior to the attacks. The more notorious bin Laden was allegedly funding militants in the Philippines through WAMY. In a Romanian newspaper report, WAMY was identified as a group that heavily funded a Muslim Brotherhood organization that operated under alternate names. WAMY has also welcomed speakers such as Tariq Ramadan, Rashid Gannouchi, and Hamas leader Khaled Mash'al. WAMY's funds have reportedly wound up in the hands of Hamas on several occasions. In an article published in the Washington Post, a Senior Customs Special Agent signed an affidavit that claims a WAMY publication said the following:
“The Jews are humanity's enemies: they foment immorality in this world.'”
Moreover, CAIR has allegedly received funding from WAMY to aid with the construction of its headquarters in Washington, D.C. There are also credible reports that the Muslim Students Association of the U.S. and Canada, as well as the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) are closely linked. In 1978, the Abedins had frequent dialogue with Maulana Muhammad Yousuf of Jamaat-e-Islami in India. Yusuf came after Abu Al-Ala Maududi and was key in the Tabligh, which is the Indian subcontinent’s equivalent of the Muslim Brotherhood with Salafist ideology. It has extensive ties to Wahhabist and Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups. More recently, the Jamaat has expressed support for violent jihad against American forces and other non-Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and elsewhere. The organization also salutes the jihad of groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and Hezbul Mujahideen in Kashmir.

DAR AL-HEKMA
Saleha Abedin is Vice Dean at Dar El-Hekma College in Saudi Arabia, Saleha was also one of the institution’s founders, along with Yaseen Abdullah Kadi—a designated terrorist by the U.S.—and members of the bin Laden family.
In 2010, Huma arranged for the Secretary of State to visit Dar El-Hekma where Clinton spoke alongside both Saleha and another Sisterhood member named Suheir Qureshi, who like so many of her colleagues, holds a Ph.D. Courtesy of Internet Archives, we were able to learn that Huma Abedin served as an Assistant Editor with IMMA from at least December 2, 2002—September 24, 2008. Her name fails to appear on the IMMA website some time before February 14, 2009. Presumably, Abedin left IMMA to accept her current position as Deputy Chief of Staff to Hillary Clinton.
The IMMA Editorial Board currently lists both Huma’s brother and her mother as editors. A screenshot from the Anti-Mullah blog proves that Huma worked and partnered together with her family at IMMA:



This would be within the same time period that her brother Hassan Abedin began serving as a fellow with OCIS. This necessarily means that Huma was serving on a board (IMMA) with people who had confirmed ties to al-Qaeda, which leads to another relevant discovery. From at least December 2, 2002—December 3, 2003, none other than Abdullah Omar Naseef served on the Advisory Editorial Board. This screenshot confirms that:



The relevance of this discovery is further increased by what his revealed by the Anti-Defamation League: On October 12, 2001, the U.S. Treasury Department designated the Rabita Trust, a charity in Pakistan "for its close ties to senior al Qaida leadership and for providing logistical and financial support to Al Qaida." The Rabita Trust was founded in 1988 by Dr. Abdullah Omar Naseef, the former secretary general of the Muslim World League (MWL) in the 1980s. Obviously, this means that more than two years prior to Huma Abedin serving on a board with Naseef—and one month after the 9/11 attacks—Naseef was formally connected to Al-Qaeda by the U.S. Government.
With all this, why would Huma serve on a board with Saleha and coordinate a meeting between her mother and the Secretary of State while Saleha still appears on the main Al-Azhar university website as a member of the High Council for Islamic Matters? As such, she participated in the 12th session regarding the Islamic Conference for The Islamic Uprising as representing the Islamic Committee for Woman and Child (the same group that supports marital rape).

CONCLUSION ON THE ABEDINS
With all this evidence, let’s examine whether Senator John McCain’s argument makes any sense: “Never mind that one of those individuals, Huma’s father, passed away two decades ago.” Using McCain’s logic, Siham al-Qaradawi—the daughter of Yusuf Qaradawi—who was awarded the Fulbright Academic Program in 2010-2011, cannot be discriminated against just because Yusuf Qaradawi is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, but only if his death was two decades ago. Her living mother and brothers being affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood does not count. Siham al-Qaradawi—to use McCain’s logic—then qualifies for Huma’s role, especially since no one can prove that Siham Qaradawi is a card-carrying member, regardless that she is directly connected
with the Brotherhood. Bachmann’s argument stands; with this evidence presented, the burden of proof is on McCain to show that Huma was vetted and does not present a threat to National Security. Bachmann’s 16-page letter was not only regarding the Abedins, but “Brotherhood infiltration” in general. After examining this we believe that we provide ample proof for Huma’s involvement, ties and relationship with members of the Muslim Brotherhood. It becomes difficult to argue that Huma was no “mover and shaker” in introducing Hillary to her mother Saleha Abedin at Dar al-Hikma. It becomes then obvious that Huma Abedin likely knew:

1—That the organization to which her family belonged was founded with the help of Al-Qaeda Godfather Abdullah Omar Naseef.
2—Her family ties existed well after IMMA’s inception, after 9/11, and well into 2006—2008 without any degrees of separation as claimed by CNN. The Abedins could not deny knowing about the widely known SAAR Network charity that Naseef managed.
3—Her mother was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Huma arranged for Hillary Clinton to speak alongside two Muslim Brotherhood members; Huma’s mother, Saleha Abedin and Suheir Qureshi who is listed by Al-Dustur and Al-Jazeera as a member. The complete list, including the 12 Saudi women members and the names of all 63 members are listed here. Evidence of these being involved with the Muslim Brotherhood is overwhelming.
4—That her brother is a fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) with Abdullah Omar Naseef as the Chairman of the Board at OCIS with Muslim Brotherhood Sheikh Yusuf Al Qaradawi serving on the OCIS Board.
5—That leaving her job as editor at IMMA was necessary for her new job at the State Dept.
6—That her mother leads a group that endorses marital rape, under age marriage, and female genital mutilation.
7—The critics of Michele Bachmann were being uninformed.

SLIPPED UNDER THE RADAR
Bachmann is correct with respect to screening and vetting government employees. Few Americans know that it was a C.I.A/F.B.I agent who created the first Al-Qaeda training manual from classified military sources as he moved up the ranks undetected during his U.S. military service. In celebration of the elections, Obama gave the MB $1.5 billion in foreign aid to the MB. Having a terrorist group in control of this prominent Arab nation is a big coup for the Obama administration. This bribe is obviously a clear indicator that the MB will do the bidding of the US covertly, while appearing to be against the US government on the surface.

Just three months ago , Obama hosted members of the MB at the White House to “broaden [the US] engagement” of the Egyptian leaders they have shadow control over.

Abedin, her ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and her close relationship with Clinton places the Muslim Brotherhood at the heart of the Obama administration. A sense of friendship with a radical organization will only jeopardize America's security in the long run. Americans must realize what the Muslim Brotherhood stands for. Sharia law has spread into Europe and has taken hold in Egypt thanks to the Arab Spring. Many Americans do not understand what Sharia law entails or, for that matter, have even heard of it.

Essentially, Sharia law is a rigid Islamic moral code that commingles religion and government. Sharia law encompasses all facets of Muslim life from religion and finances, right down to personal hygiene. Before the U.S.-led invasion, Afghanistan was the center of Sharia law in the Muslim world, where women had no rights and were treated as second class citizens on a good day.

Andrew McCarthy is the former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York who successfully prosecuted Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, "the blind cleric," for the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993. He has written a riveting and smart piece for National Review Online about how the State Department has bowed to the Muslim Brotherhood's agenda.

There are many revelations that McCarthy touches on but the three that stand out are:

Perhaps the State Department thinks it is following the Godfather adage "keep your friends close but your enemies closer." However, the reality is the State Department is getting played by a nefarious group of Islamic extremists. A strategic plan that was introduced as evidence in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorist financing prosecution in our nation's history, stated that the Muslim Brotherhood has as its goal "destroying Western civilization from within." The way to achieve this goal, according to the Muslim Brotherhood, is to employ a "civilization jihad" by influencing policy makers and government agencies.

Thankfully, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Trent Franks, Louie Gohmert, Tom Rooney, and Lynn Westmoreland sent letters to the inspectors general of the State, Justice, Defense and Homeland Security Departments and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to question if people within the government are being influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood. These letters ask the inspectors general why policy has dramatically changed towards the Muslim Brotherhood under the Obama Administration.

These Members of Congress came under withering attack from both the left and some in the Republican Party's establishment for just doing their jobs as legislators. If Americans understand what the Muslim Brotherhood is really about and how repressive their beliefs are, especially towards women, they would have the same questions. CBS - Bachmann’s Muslim Brotherhood Concerns In Obama Administration Shouldn’t Be Silenced

<sub>Hold it! Don’t drop last week’s controversial headlines regarding U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann and four other GOP House members who said that President Barack Obama’s administration has connections to the Muslim Brotherhood so fast.

After Bachmann and other GOP congressmen suggested that there are Muslim Brotherhood supporters in the United States government, 2008’s GOP presidential candidate and current Arizona Senator John McCain as well as the GOP House Leader John Boehner cried foul on their own party members. Many followed the two heavyweight Republican’s lead and poured on the criticism. But now, it appears as though those quick cries of foul play and snappy denouncements of Bachmann and her letter-writing crew may have come too fast and very misdirected. (@k9 ? )

The criticism of Bachmann’s and the others’ letters requesting an investigation were based on an suggestion that U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin – who is also the wife of the disgraced X-rated photo-tweeting former U.S. Representative Anthony Weiner of New York – used to be involved with the Muslim Brotherhood.

All the letters asked U.S. federal agencies to do was to make sure that persons, including Abedin, be properly vetted federal workers. One of the Bachmann posse, Rep. Trent Franks of Arizona, is now crying foul from the letter writers’ side of the controversy. He says that the focus of the media and the politicians’ criticisms was totally based on the mentioning of Clinton’s highly-respected and popular deputy chief of staff in only one sentence of one of the letters. Franks believes this was done by the media and the politicians to change the subject of the serious matter.

Additionally, U.S. Representative Tom Rooney of Florida echoed Franks’ concern by saying that the letters requesting that some Obama administration-connections be checked out for the sake of national security. Rooney makes the excellent point reminding everyone of the Palestinian-American’s radical Islam link to the Fort Hood tragedy of 2009.

Up to now, none of the letter-writing GOP House members are apologizing or backing down from their suggestion that federal employees linked closely to the White House should be checked out more thoroughly. While some of them have said they are sincerely sorry that the media chose to highlight Abedin in the story, they say their requests stand because they are valid concerns and suggestions.

So, if it’s only a cautionary check for national security’s sake, what are all these politicians so upset about? They shouldn’t be. While John Boehner called Bachmann’s letter’s assertion “dangerous”, what’s really dangerous is when someone in Boehner’s position tries to intimidate elected officials from suggesting methods of checking for irregularities in our government’s personnel.

Granted, it would have been better if Huma Abedin wasn’t singled out in one of the letters. That was clumsy, but Bachmann and her group insist that no actual accusation was made against her or anyone else.

Apparently, this story is going to get more heated up before it cools down – or before it should cool down – as a publication entitled the “Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs” (IMMA) has been posted online since this story broke last week. The posted online publication shows that Huma Abedin was an Assistant Editor of the IMMA according to Independent Sentinel. Independent Sentinel says Abedin was in that position from December 2002 to September2008. It also says that some of her family members are still involved with IMMA.

While being connected to the IMMA may not be of concern at face value, it can be of concern when scrutinizing other names associated with the publication. The most striking connection is that Huma Abedin and Abdullah Omar Naseef reportedly served on the board of IMMA together for a year. Naseef is reportedly running the Rabita Trust, a charity which has allegedly been a front for al-Qaeda. This organization, allegedly, was founded by one of al-Qaeda’s three founders.

Need anyone continue with the personal connections of people before the correctness of Bachmann’s letter is finally understood and accepted?

While none of these connections mean that Abedin and her family are a danger to the United States, it does justify Bachmann’s and the other GOP politicians’ letters requesting a further background check of government workers. And that’s all they have done. They made a suggestion as opposed to an accusation for the sake of national security.

The government inconveniences the public with TSA checks at airports and security checks that slow down entrance to highly-attended events from coast to coast across the U.S., but they stop at checking inside the Obama administration’s personnel – possibly only because the suggestion came from Bachmann. All of these security checks – including the ones Bachmann has suggested – should be done after what we experienced on September 11, 2001.

The defense for Team Bachmann on this story is growing by the day – and they shouldn’t even have to be defending themselves as they are – especially to their own party.</sub>

De Amerikaanse president Barack Obama heeft zijn handtekening gezet onder een geheim steunplan voor de Syrische rebellen met de bedoeling om het regime van president Bashar al-Assad omver te werpen. Dat melden enkele Amerikaanse media. Het Witte Huis zelf heeft het over medische en logistieke steun. Intussen is bekendgeraakt dat er in Syrië ook Belgische moslims meevechten met de rebellen.


Enkele Amerikaanse televisiestations maakten gisteren gewag van een geheim rapport om de Syrische rebellen te steunen en zo het regime van president Bashar al-Assad omver te werpen. Het geheime document zou aan de CIA, de Amerikaanse geheime dienst, de toestemming geven om clandestien te handelen.

Het Witte Huis weigerde elk commentaar maar woordvoerders sloten niet uit dat de Amerikaanse inlichtingendiensten informatie zouden verschaffen aan de Syrische rebellen.

Eerder had een woordvoerder van Buitenlandse Zaken bekendgemaakt dat de VS 25 miljoen dollar, omgerekend zo'n 20 miljoen euro, vrijmaakt voor steun aan het Syrische bevrijdingsleger. Hij benadrukte dat het ging om steun voor "niet-dodelijke doeleinden", zoals medicatie of logistiek. "Het verschaffen van wapens zou alleen maar contraproductief werken", luidde het. De woordvoerder maakte in één adem ook bekend dat Washington 64 miljoen dollar beschikbaar stelt voor humanitaire hulp aan Syrië. Het geld zal via de VN en andere hulporganisaties worden verspreid.

Politieke druk op Washington stijgt
Het nieuws van de duidelijk aangehaalde banden tussen de Verenigde Staten en de Syrische opstandelingen valt samen met berichten van zeer gewelddadige confrontaties tussen legeringstroepen en de rebellen in de hoofdstad Damascus en de stad Aleppo.

Te midden van dat alles stijgt de politieke druk op de VS om steun te verlenen aan de Syrische rebellen. Washington heeft zich tot nog toe erg terughoudend opgesteld in het Syrische conflict. Washington is als de dood om betrokken te geraken bij nog maar eens een nieuwe oorlog in het Midden Oosten. President Obama zou maandag in een telefoongesprek met de Turkse premier Erdogan wel ingestemd hebben met een "versnelde politieke overgang in Syrië". Het conflict in Syrië sleept al 17 maanden aan.

Belgische moslims vechten mee met rebellen
Vandaag raakte ook bekend dat ook Belgische moslims met de Syrische rebellen meevechten. De Belgische staatsveiligheid bevestigt de feiten maar zegt niet om hoeveel mensen het gaat. De strijders krijgen ter plekke een opleiding van mensen die banden hebben Al Qaeda.

Ook uit andere Europese landen, Libië en Saoudi-Arabië zouden moslims naar Syrië gereisd zijn om er te gaan vechten. Ze hopen er na de val van het Syrische regime een islamitische staat op te richten . De Belgische staatsveiligheid maakt zich alvast zorgen om de terugkeer van de Belgische moslims. De “linkse” media fluiten nog het wijsje uit Washington, volgens welke de Syrische rebellen een brutale “bevrijdingsstrijd” tegen de bloedige socialistische regering zouden voeren. Maar steeds meer journalisten beginnen in te zien dat achter de zogenaamde vrijheidsstrijd de Jihad zit, de hatelijke, bloeddorstige islamiseringoorlog, die veelmeer iedere vrijheid wil afschaffen i.p.v. meer vrijheid voor het volk te brengen. Dat zijn die professionele huurlingenlegers van moslims uit de hele wereld, die men deels ook in de straten van Duitsland (Bonn, Solingen) kon zien.

Destijds, toen men de onafhankelijkheid van Kosovo uitriep, waren er veel van deze reizende Jihadisten op de feestelijke manifestaties van de moslims te zien. Nu heeft N-24 deze islamitische troepen van permanente strijders, die van land naar land trekken en overal de Jihad vechten tegen de vrije wereld, in Syrië geobserveerd en beschreven:

Als er ergens in de islamitische wereld een gewapend conflict uitbreekt, duiken ze ongevraagd op: de Jihadisten, de zelfbenoemde “strijders van Allah”. “Strijders voor Allah” vechten voor de sharia.

De Nederlander Jeroen Oerlemans is tot nu toe de enige buitenlandse journalist die in Syrië nader heeft kennisgemaakt met actieve “strijders voor Allah”. Het was een onvrijwillige kennismaking. (…) “Terwijl het FSA (Free Syrian Army) voor de democratie schijnt te vechten, willen deze buitenlandse strijders niets anders dan Syrië de sharia op te dringen”, zei Oerlemans.

Jihadisten hebben geld en wapens.

We herhalen hier nogmaals wat we al vaker gezegd hebben: Zodra het tot een gewelddadig conflict komt, zul je ze hier ook zien vechten. Zodra er burgeroorlog in een West-Europees land uitbreekt, zullen ze er onmiddellijk zijn. Goed georganiseerd, goed voorbereid, goed verzorgd met wapens en logistiek, opererend vanuit de moskeeën. Want velen van hen hebben Duitse, Franse, Oostenrijkse of Nederlandse paspoorten en ze maken aanspraak op dit land, dat jullie beschouwen als van jullie.
