Fallaci was simply too preoccupied with the events of the moment to notice that an entirely different narrative was rapidly taking shape — namely, the transformation of the West. Bedenk hierbij dat George Habas afstamt uit een Grieks-Orthodoxe familie. Hij is de stichter van het uiterst linkse Volksfront voor de Bevrijding van Palestina. Geen islamiet, maar een bevoorrecht getuige.

De voorspellingen van Habash en Boumedienne zijn ondertussen bewaarheid geworden. De overrompeling van West-Europa door miljoenen moslims is evenwel onmogelijk zonder verraad van binnenuit. Dit verraad gebeurde, volgens Bat Ye'or, door politici van alle gevestigde partijen.
