Surely by now you must know that posts
employing the words "for Israel" means
that they are written by terrorist-loving
Muslims, Neo-Nazis or the terrorists' left-wing
friends.

I find it interesting that Syria has been taken out of the picture with
the assassination of Lebanon's prime minister. Syria has been blamed for
the act and Lebanon has elected an anti-Syrian government. The way I see
it, Syria came out the loser and Israel got what it wanted.

Now that Syria is being kept busy, Iran is alone. Judging from how the
U.S. acted towards the lead up to the invasion of Iraq, it doesn't
matter what happens diplomatically. The U.S. will invade Iran whenever
it wants, despite objections from world governments.

Bush better be careful though! I don't think Iran will be a cake walk.

Yep, Scott Ritter.

That guy who knew more about what was going on in Iraq before the
invasion than George Bush, Tony Blair and all their intelligence
services.

They said that about Afghanistan and Iraq. If Iran couldn't beat Iraq in a
war how is it going to be a problem for the yanks ?

Because Iran society is more open and more united than Irak around the
religious.
Even though youth is yearning for changes.
Nationalist feelings in Iran could be earnest whereas in Irak they were
largely
fueled by the fear instilled by Saddam. So US troops would prevail to
find
themselves caught in a full scale insurrectional situation.

Moreover Chiite's muslims in Irak would probably find this move quite
irksome and
could express their unsatisfaction to the US troops bound to stay over
there...

PM Sharon meets with PM Blair at UN Summit

Following his address to the UN General Assembly, PM Sharon met with
Prime Minister Tony Blair yesterday. During their meeting, Sharon
presented Blair with data regarding Iran's nuclear weapons activity.
Blair confirmed to Sharon that the UK shares Israel's concerns
regarding the Iranian nuclear threat and is opposed to any attempts by
Iran to arm itself with nuclear weapons. Prime Minister Blair also
assured PM Sharon that he will resolve the issue that transpired
earlier in the week, when IDF Maj.-Gen. (ret) Doron Almog averted an
attempt by Scotland Yard to arrest him over alleged 'war crimes.'
In related developments, PM Sharon also met yesterday with Canadian
Prime Minister Paul Martin and Australian Prime Minister John Howard
