![]() The observers arriving in Sampur area with the Defense forces have estimated
at least 2, 50,000 cement bags have been to build the LTTE bunkers and their fortifications. While Ranil Wickramasinghe Government helped the LTTE to set up their camps in Sampur 'cleared' area after the Norway led notorious CFA was concluded ,the INGOs have delivered the material for Tamil Tiger buildings under the pretext of putting up houses for the Tsunami victims. The number of houses built for the Tsunami victims compared to the volumes of material such as cement checked through the Army check points on its way to Samour completes the story of taking the Nation for a ride by the INGOs and some of the Provincial Council officers. The civilians and the members of the Defense forces who had to pay the supreme price in silensing the LTTE array of artillery guns in Sampur and along with the people who had to bear the cost of damage to the properties should ask the FNGO to compensate them. Some of the NGOs who were operating in Sampur area were US Aid, Sava Lanka, World Vision, Christian Childrens' fund, Action Farm, Action Aid etc. Sri Lankans against terrorism question the INGOs why they knowingly helped a terrorist organization to build bunkers and allied fortifications. |
