The Mass Graves in Turkey are belong to Armenians and Surriyanis

While the Turkish government keeping quite about the found mass graves in
Xirabebaba (Mardin, Nusaybin) historian David Gaunt publicised his findings
about the graves.

The Kurdish newspaper first publicly revealed the mass graves "gundemimiz"
since then Turkish gendarmerie in the Xirabebaba village covered the graves
and access the area by the journalists have been denied. Swedish historian
David Gaunt says mass graves are belong to 270 Armenian and Assuries who
were massacred by the Ittihat-Terraki (Young Turks) dead squads leader in
the region of Mardin by Mutasarrifi Halil Edip.

Swedish historian Gaunt so far researched 150 such a massacres in the Mardin
province. According to village elders in Xirabebaba and an escaped witnes
from the massacre states that 150 Armenian and 120 Assyrian taken out from
the village and killed beside the caves.

Professor Gaunt states that there are three possibilities, which can
identify the date of the mass graves, and these can be done with basic
investigation.

Possibility one: If the bones are, belong to the males then the massacre
happened in 15 June 1915 where Catholic Armenians, Protestant Surriyanis and
Keldani leaders have been put into Nusaybin prison on 13 June!

Possibility two: If the bones are mostly belonging to females then the
massacre have happened on 28 June 1915 where Catholic Armenians were killed
collectively.

Possibility three: If the bones are mixed which is belong to male and the
females then the massacre have happened at the same time to the people of
Orthodox Surriyanis from Nusaybin. In this case, bones should have woman,
children, young old mix.

Professor Gaunt dismiss the idea that graves are being belong to Muslims
because at the time Christian community in the region had no arms at all and
they were too weak against the Ottomans. Only weak resistance have happened
by the Surriyanis to save their lives well further away from the mass
gravesite!
