Simcountry is a virtual world with continents, regions and countries. There are many countries in the world and each one of them is ruled by a president who has great powers in his country and rules it with full freedom of action. The president is responsible for the economy of the country, relations with other countries, he is responsible for the defense of the country and in case of war, must defend it and destroy his enemies.

The president may decide to rule the country in all details which is quite complex and requires a lot of time, and he may leave some of the details to the automatic system that can carry out many of the daily operations for him. When the president is on vacation or not available to fulfill his daily duties, the automatic system may be set up to defend the country in case of war. Many countries in the world do not have a president yet. These countries do participate in the game. They are run by the automatic system.

The economy of the country includes the industry and production capabilities of its factories. The president is required to run these corporations, set up purchasing and sale strategies, hire and fire workers and manage the corporate finances. There are 15 to 50 corporations in each country and successful presidents may be able to increase the number even higher. Corporations can be taken over by private enterprises that operate in the world and the president is faced with repeated challenges while executing his job.

Simcountry is based on a real economic model that is market oriented with products offered and bought on the free market and in direct trading with other presidents and enterprise CEOs. Thousands of people around the world play together and compete with each other for the top slots on the ranking list and the prizes that are associated with them.

Ik weet het niet. Ik ga heel regelmatig kijken op de site. En ik heb me ook ingeschreven op die andere site. Ik kon het dus niet laten.

Eigenlijk is het spel heel makkelijk.

Je kan je aanmelden om lid te worden van de VN, maar dan moet je alle reeds gestemde - en al diegene die nog moeten gestemd worden - resoluties wel aanvaarden.

Je kan je aansluiten bij een regio of zelf een regio stichten.

Ook zal je regelmatig beslissingen moeten nemen, waarbij je verschillende opties kunt nemen. Naargelang je keuzes zal je ofwel - bijvoorbeeld - een dictatuur worden of een land zoals het Scandinavisch model.
