Opened in 1875 as a departmentstore, Wertheim, Berlin. Why would they make arches this massive, why waste materials and effort?

They want you think these were built by white people, and it was the 'Victoria' Terminus. Except it wasn't. It was stolen and renamed. Now has been renamed back...(Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus) Bombay here. (now Mumbai) :

Work on the first building was begun in 1718 under the direction of Hermann Korb. After the building burned down in 1830, a second palace was built by Carl Theodor Ottmer, being completed in 1841. It was completely demolished in 1960 Ofcourse! Braunschweiger Schloss :
