The Bush administration on Wednesday asked a federal judge to order Google to turn over a broad range of material from its closely guarded databases.
The move is part of a government effort to revive an Internet child protection law struck down two years ago by the U.S. Supreme Court. The law was meant to punish online pornography sites that make their content accessible to minors. The government contends it needs the Google data to determine how often pornography shows up in online searches.
In court papers filed in U.S. District Court in San Jose, Justice Department lawyers revealed that Google has refused to comply with a subpoena issued last year for the records, which include a request for 1 million random Web addresses and records of all Google searches from any one-week period.
The Mountain View-based search and advertising giant opposes releasing the information on a variety of grounds, saying it would violate the privacy rights of its users and reveal company trade secrets, according to court documents.
Nicole Wong, an associate general counsel for Google, said the company will fight the government's effort ``vigorously.''
``Google is not a party to this lawsuit, and the demand for the information is overreaching,'' Wong said.
The case worries privacy advocates, given the vast amount of information Google and other search engines know about their users.

I'm a crew member on the Queen Mary 2, largest cruise ship in the world, and a Cunard ship (the same company that sunk the Lusitania to bring the Americans into World War 1). We recently had an accident that was very badly reported ... read below ...

According to CNN: (CNN=Clap Trap No News!!)

"Breaking news: The Queen Mary 2, biggest cruise ship in the world, is heading back to port in Ft Lauderdale today after hitting a submerged object out at sea. It is not yet known if this is the act of terrorists."

What really happened was we hit a sand bank (obviously not the act of terrorists). The sand bank nearly ripped one of the pods that propels the ship right off. Divers were sent down to weld it back on and we returned to Ft Lauderdale that night and the gangways were opened - we were free to go about Ft Lauderdale. Divers worked on the pod all night, and all the next day and night, and we left the 2nd morning. We weren't allowed to get off the ship the 2nd night.

Eventually they decided that the pod was unfixable, but it takes 4 months to make a new pod so we set sail again with 3 and are going to do the rest of the 38 day cruise with 3 pods instead of 4. Because of the time we wasted in Ft Lauderdale and our reduced speed we are sailing straight to Rio, to arrive on Jan 27th.

1500 Passengers were only on board until Rio, therefore there were no ports for them, only sea days. They're not very happy about the ship's offer of 50% of their money back as all they've had is sea days. They're boycotting the gift shop and other paid services of the ship. There's also plans to sue once they get home again.

There is NO news station that reported we hit a sand bank. To all of them "we struck a submerged object". In fact, the BBC reports that "the crew felt a shudder" (which is certainly true) and we "feared we hit something". They knew right away what happened on the bridge. Associated Press (AP) reported after we left port again "The Queen Mary 2, world's largest cruise ship, set sail from Ft Lauderdale again today after it turned back to fix problems with a motor".

Ik begon vanochtend met werken en het lag er weer nogal dik op...chemtrails in welke richting je ook keek.De contrails verdwijnen zowat onmiddellijk;de chemtrails blijven uren hangen,verbreden beetje bij beetje en veranderen in een soort lichte bewolking.Als dit fenomeen niet een fenomeen is van de laatste zeg maar 10 jaar....kan iemand me dan foto's bezorgen van de jaren 80 of zo van de blauwe lucht vol strepen-die dan later op de dag een lichte bewolking vormen?
Ik distantieer me hierbij van de disinfotheorieen hieromtrent als de genocide en mind control etc. (al sta ik voor alles open).
Ik herinner me uit mn jeugd dat mn grootmoeder die strepen(contrails) in de zomer altijd telde en het was een half mirakel als ze er 6 of zo tegelijk zag....nooit zei ze:er zijn er weer 25....
Ik telde er vanochtend 30 en daarbovenop nog enkele die al verbreed waren.Ik heb er dan maar een kiekje van genomen...(zwart-wit leek beter te werken dan kleur).
Ik ga de zwart-wit ook eens naar het weerbericht zenden (we krijgen nooit chemtrailfoto's te zien in het weerpraatje) en Sabine en Frank om uitleg vragen.
