Nationalism is a extreme form of Moral Authoritarianism.

It is a concept of identity which members of a particular nation or group may collectively feel. Nationalists strive to create or sustain a nation based on a specific notions of political legitimacy (country, ethnie, class, religion...).

Depending on the specific content of a nationalism, it may or may not necessarily imply that one nation is better than another. At times it simply argues that a given nation is better off when it is permitted to govern themselves, following its own political, economic, and cultural interests independently.

All forms of nationalism must answer the question of who belongs to the nation and who does not. Early theories of nationalism took the view that the existence and boundaries of a nation were the natural consequence of ethnicity and geography. More recent theories argue that the concept of nations is a socially constructed phenomenon

Dat valt nu ook weer mee, hoewel ik nu net in categorie zit, die Amerikanen nog links noemen en Europeanen rechts, maarja ik ben dan ook meer een centrist.

Test is als alternatief en louter informatief, om iets uit te leren, of voor de leut. Kenbaar maken van uw resultaat + discussie is uiteraard volledig eigen keuze.

Overigens komt de test van een internationaal & kwalitatief zeer hoogstaand politiek forum. Vermits er op ''ons forum'' nog niets vergelijkbaars voorhanden is, wou ik het maar meegeven, vrijblijvend en ''om iets uit te leren''.

It can be interesting to re-visit the political ideology tests after debating on a political discussion board for a while and see if your results have changed.

als ik kijk naar de andere posts hier, dan zie ik dat redelijk wat NVA-stemmers terecht komen bij 'social democratism'

verbaasde me wel enigszins. Aan de andere kant, in de vorige test kwam ik ook uit bij de sossen Ik moet dus echt een undercover-sos zijn
