The American edition of the Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed sources, claims that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) demanded that Vladimir Zelensky cancel the order to sabotage the Nord Streams, which he agreed to, but Ukrainian General Valery Zaluzhny disobeyed his order.
