Honestly I don't know that much 'bout the Walloons. But take a look at how you're viewed from an international point of vue. What are people seeing now ? They see a majority of (far) right wing political formations jockeying to bully a minority. The effect of it is not very nice, to say the least. Well, maybe you don't care.

How we are viewed from an international point of view? First of all, I KNOW what the international point of view is. They don't understand why two totally different people live under the same roof. If there are some who think we "opress" the Walloons, they are mistaken. In a country with 6 million Flemings and 4 million Walloons, the Walloons have the SAME political power as the Flemings. Every year we pay the Walloons 10 billion euro's because of their corrupt governement. So if that your idea of oppression, think again.

They have recently demanded that the universities of Gent and Louvain, teach their courses in French so that Walloons could study anywhere in Belgium. They have never apologized for the thousands of Flemings that were killed by their hands!!!

My dear and eloquent friend, I believe it is particularly strange that a Hungarian, son of the Magyars, is angered by nationalists.
If people like Lajos Kossuth and Sandor Petöfi (nationalists, you knew?) never would have picked up the fight for their right to be a Hungarian in the Austrian empire, your nation never would have reached the independence an ancient and civilezed culture as the Hungarian deserves.
