Dear made-forummers,
Dear friends of the English wire,


I am thinking of organising a day-outstep to Londen for everyone who is interested.
There are still some details we need to sort out, but I think we should take the train under the canal in Calais around 10 hour. Then we take the train to Saint-Pancreas in London. Ok, you will say, Saint-Pancreas, that is far from the centrum, but don’t worry we get an immediate onlocking to the metro.
So we will arrive in the centrum, just before lunch. I propose we eat a traditional English delicattesse for lunch: ‘fish ‘n frites’. I know a good place and it’s not dear (so also good for the wallet)!

In the afternoon, we can go sightseeing, there is a lot to see and do in London. We can choose from this:

- Buckingham Palace
- Trafalgar Square with Nelson’s column (this is a pilare, not a piece in the newspaper, just so you know)
- The parlementsbuilding with the Big Ben
- The washing statues of Madame Tussaud’s

And a lot more. Nothings stands fixed yet, and I stand open for all suggestions.

What can you not forget to bring with on this day?
