Road To The New Order?
Monday, June 25, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com

A ‘new world order’ is a vision long shared by political leaders, industrialists, and intellectuals around the world. ‘Peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law’, what a wonderful idea! Strange then, that they have tried to conceal the reality of their vision from the wider public. For over thirty years, the European project was sold to the British people as little more than a benign free-trade agreement, despite the fact most of our new laws originate in Brussels and we are being asked to relinquish most of our independence under the European Constitution. -RINF Alternative News

New World Order Evolving - Theory
By Ivan Simic

The term "New World Order" (Novus Ordo Mundi) has been used to refer to a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power.

When we talk about New World Order we can say that everything is about hegemony and dominance of stronger countries over others. If we look back through history we can recount various attempts of several countries to create a New World Order or some sort of dominance among countries. Some of these attempts were led by great warriors such as, Alexander the Great (Macedonian Empire), Julius Caesar (Roman Empire), Genghis Khan (Mongol Empire), Napoleon Bonaparte (French Empire), Adolf Hitler, among others. From this we can see that every attempt to rule the world was needless and devastating.

We heard many theories and conspiracy theories about the New World Order, some of which include the USA and the UK wanting to form the Federal World Government, or the Illuminati (The People of The Light) believing that they are masterminds behind events that will lead to a New World Order, or that the Freemasons are involved in the conspiracy to create a New World Order, or that international organizations such as the World Bank, IMF, European Union, the United Nations, and NATO are often listed as core NWO organizations, Black helicopters, etc. In my opinion, these theories will never take place because of strong disagreement from Russia, China and Islamic countries.

In regard to the above, in present times, we can see that even more countries are trying to dominate and create some sort of order among themselves by creating Unions and Alliances between them; like the European Union, African union, Alliance of the USA, the UK, Australia and Canada, etc.

In the very near future, in order to survive, keep national identity and to maintain economy, costume and culture, it is more likely that more Unions and Alliances would be formed to create a New World Order; a bigger European Union with new member states such as: Macedonia, Croatia and Turkey. Union of Asian and Eurasian countries Russia, Mongolia, China and India, Union of Islamic countries from the Middle East and Central Asia, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, stronger unity of African Union, Union of Central and South America; Panama, Colombia, Cuba and Venezuela, and eventually North American Union; USA, Canada and Mexico. After these Unions, we can expect even bigger ones. My vision is that they are going to look like this.

European Union (EU) led by supreme members Germany and Austria will expand to five more countries Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Montenegro and Moldova. It is most likely that the EU will have problems with France and Turkey because of the pressure from Muslim countries from the south.

In order to maintain stability in the world, Union of Asia and Eurasia countries (UA) led by Russia, China and India will expand to Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and North Korea. South Korea and Japan will try to stay neutral while on the other side Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will try to form some sort of Union among themselves because of historic experience and influence from Russia and India. This Union will create a struggle between Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the UA but eventually will get them back to the Russian and Indian embrace.

Because of the enormous power of other Unions, Union of Islamic countries will transform itself into Union of Middle East and North Africa (MENA), led by Iran and Saudi Arabia, that will enlarge to the whole Middle East (except Cyprus and Israel), North Africa, Sudan and Afghanistan. In these circumstances, Israel will lose support from the USA and the UK. This Union will be one of the strongest unions since it would be directed strictly by religion and desire to preserve their customs; also, it will become economically one of the strongest and one of the most influential Unions since there is a great number of Muslims in the EU and the USA. Turkey, France and Morocco will be the bridges of MENA to set influence on the EU.

The African Union will get weakened when it loses members from the North but eventually she will form a new Sub-Saharan Union (SSU) which will become stronger, and finally place Africa on the right path. Because of the events in North Africa and new MENA Union, SSU will prosper with great economic support from the EU, the UA and Great American Union (GAU).

Union of Central and South America will enlarge to the whole continent and they will join North America to create a Great American Union (GAU). The USA will have great influence on other members through Mexico. This Union will be led by the USA in the North and Brazil in the South. This Union will make the USA concentrate on the American continent and eventually stop supporting the UK and Israel, which will lead to the UK drawing closer to the EU and Europe; this would push the State of Israel to find a new way out and for the USA to become independent from the two of them.

Countries from Southeast Asia like Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, etc. will become an oasis for peace and the world's largest tourist destinations. It is most likely that Japan and South Korea will join them.

The Formation of these Unions will bring many difficulties and misunderstandings; however, Unions will be formed with an objective; the desire to compete, to dominate, to parry, to be the biggest and some even to survive, regardless of differences in religion, nationality, color of skin, history, culture, among others.

Bigger Unions means bigger desires, desire to be first, to be biggest, to be strongest no matter what. These desires will create disorder among countries, and eventually will create war of the Nations, war that will destroy mankind and mark the beginning of a true world order.

Microchip shawls to save wildlife

The authorities are working hard to crack down on the trade
The government of Jammu and Kashmir in India has started a new scheme in which microchip tags are used for all registered Tibetan antelope products.

They hope that this will check illegal trade in valuable wool that comes from the creatures used to make shawls.

The scheme was initiated on the orders of the Indian Supreme Court.

The aim of the move is to implement a total ban on antelope wool known as shahtoosh. It has been welcomed by conservationists.

A chip in your passport to make travel safer

Shivani Shinde in Mumbai

June 26, 2007 17:58 IST

Daphne,an Australian, feels more secure while flying these days. A frequent flier, she says it's her passport that has made her flying experience less stressful. She is referring to a new innovation for international travellers, an electronic passport (e-passport).

Whenever she presents it to the immigration officer, he/she simply scans and returns it. While the new passport looks the same as its predecessor, it has a microchip embedded in the centre page that contains her digitised facial image and personal details as they appear on the data page. The microchip is read electronically and there's little room for error.

The Indian government, too, is soon expected to invite tenders to deploy e-passports. The multi-million dollar project will initially provide e-passports to diplomats and, if successful, will be rolled out for close to 40 million passport holders across the country. Around 10 to 12 million passports are issued every year by regional passport offices.

The passport is an initiative by the the International Civil Aviation Organisation. The organisation has a membership of 186 countries and will set standards for the deployment of e-passports.

An e-passport is machine- readable, enabling quick processing at airports. The passport comes with an in-built security (biometric) features, which comprise an IC (integrated circuit) chip embedded in the back cover that stores the data (including photo). These also make the passport tamper-proof. In ordinary passports, this data is typically displayed on the photo page.

With almost 500 million passports in circulation and the cost of a single e-passport ranging between $8 and $15 (Rs 330 to Rs600), it has opened up a huge market for Indian IT firms.

IT companies such as Tata Consultancy Services [Get Quote], NXP Semiconductors and Gemini Traze are already in the fray.

NXP Semiconductors, manufacturer of radio frequency identification chips that are used in e-passports, claims to have cornered 80 per cent of this market.

Ashok Chandak, director sales and marketing, NXP Semiconductors India, says: "Currently, 45 countries have started the deployment of e-passports and globally the market is huge."

NXP manufactures these chips at its unit in Netherlands and Germany.

Chandak says that they possess the technology that addresses the regulatory requirement for the chips. The other contender is Gemini Traze, a subsidiary of Gemini Communications [Get Quote], that is the first Indian company to manufacture RFID tags in India. The fully automated tag manufacturing facility will have an annual production capacity of 100 million tags.

Pradhyumna Venkat, CEO, Gemini Traze RFID India, says: "We have been talking to a few countries who are in the deployment stage of e-passports. Most of these are in Europe. We are also looking for tie-ups with local partners in these markets." He believes that the e-passport market is huge but will take another three years to four years to mature.

"We are also looking forward to the tenders that the Indian Passport office will shortly issue for the pilot-test of e-passports," he added.

TCS is another company that is looking at this market. It has also developed an e-passport solution on the lines of guidelines worked out by the ICAO. The company has already bid for pilot projects in a couple of countries.

M Vidyasagar, executive vice-president and head, Advanced Technology Centre at TCS, Hyderabad, recently said: "We will either implement the software or provide machines that support it depending on the order placed by an airport authority," he said.

He refused to name the countries in which the company bid for e-passport projects and also did not disclose the names of vendors it had tied-up with for the product.

CCTV plans for village

By Deborah Linton

RESIDENTS in Daisy Hill could see CCTV surveillance cameras introduced in the village.

Westhoughton town councillor Sean Harkin has proposed that councillors investigate the cost of installing cameras in key parts of the village, including St James Street. He says that introducing a surveillance system could help wipe out anti-social behaviour.

Cllr Harkin said: "The police team have done a wonderful job in reducing anti-social behaviour in Westhoughton but they can't be there all the time. CCTV can play an increasingly important part in our fight against crime."

The town council has already pledged £7,500 towards upgrading the CCTV system in Westhoughton town centre. Seven hi-tech dome cameras will monitor activity in Market Street, Pavillion Square, Wigan Road and Central Drive. There are currently four surveillance cameras in Market Street which rely on operators to move them.

Council members will now look into locations in neighbouring Daisy Hill village, including outside the Bargain Booze off licence, in Lower Leigh Road, where gangs of youths commonly gather on Friday and Saturday nights.

Cllr Andy Morgan said: "We need to investigate cost and speak with the police to find out where the hot spots. It is important that we then consult with residents to see where they think the problem areas are."

Big Brother Wigan (with video)

Talking CCTV and webcams could be the latest weapons introduced in Wigan to help in the fight against crime.
Town hall officials are planning a trip to Blackpool to see if their recently installed audio surveillance equipment, which warns people they are being caught on camera, is making a difference.
Officials say it is still early days, and don't yet know whether the cameras fitted with speakers will play pre-recorded messages or if CCTV staff will become involved when a crime is being committed.

Secure webcams could also be introduced in areas across Wigan where there is currently no CCTV but where the system is needed. In 2000 there were just 100 cameras in Wigan borough. There are now 500 but, as the public purse empties, security staff are looking at cheaper ways to operate rather than introducing the more costly fibre optic CCTV.
Mobile CCTV cameras would still be available for short term surveillance.

Principle officer for security for Wigan Council Terry Bolton said: "We are looking at a public address system and are looking forward to seeing it in action.
"This isn't something we're going to jump into. We'll look at the benefits as well as the problems."
Michelle Woodburn, services manager for Wigan Council's Safer Neighbourhoods Service, said: "This is one of the initiatives that could support community safety in the borough in partnership with the police and fire service. It's another tool that we could benefit from if it is used effectively."

In Blackpool the cameras emit a mixture of pre-recorded crime safety messages.
Operators have the ability to tell errant people that their actions are being monitored and to stop what they are doing. It is estimated that, depending on which part of the country you live in, you're caught on camera at least 300 times a day.
Talking cameras have been installed in Blackpool, Lancashire and Salford.

The Council CCTV team is also considering webcams for areas that need more than just a mobile camera.
CCTV manager Terry Bolton said: "At the moment our street cameras are all connected via fibre optic network, which is extremely expensive.
"Rapid deployment of mobile cameras doesn't always work because we have 77 miles to cover in a very short time.
"But technology has moved on, the quality of images is now there and an internet provider system would mean a cost effective way of moving forward."

Smile, CCTV is watching you

26 June 2007

CRIMINALS are being warned there is nowhere to hide as they travel around Weston as a new big brother will be watching their every move.

A massive revamp of the district's CCTV cameras has been carried out at Weston Town Hall, ensuring there are eyes watching offenders everywhere.

Cameras are now fitted with state-of-the-art technology which automatically recognises the number plates of stolen cars and cars owned by known criminals, so as soon as they enter the district the council and police are already watching them.

There are now 35 cameras covering the town with a total of 63 in the district. They are all monitored 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

An extra four monitors have been installed at the CCTV headquarters along with a new 42inch plasma screen to watch the goings-on of the district.

The Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system is a police initiative which matches intelligence gathered about criminals to car number plates, and then the offenders can be followed around Weston and North Somerset.

The idea behind the scheme is that most lawbreakers rely on a car to commit crime, so ANPR makes it far more difficult for them to use a vehicle without being detected.

When the technology has been introduced in other areas of the country, arrest rates have rocketed. Thames Valley police said arrests rose by nine times when they installed the system.

The cameras will photograph a number plate and feed it into sources including the Police National Computer, Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency and insurance databases.

The control room at the Town Hall covers the whole district and has been completely revamped for the first time in 11 years. Old monitors have been replaced with flat screens and specially designed consuls have created extra operating positions during busy periods.

8 - 10 CCTV Cameras per Irish Bus

By Mick Meaney
RINF Alternative News

Bus Eireann are planning to install 8 to 10 CCTV cameras per bus in a nationwide plan to “reduce vandalism”.

The digital CCTV cameras will cost Irish taxpayers €7,000 per bus with an overall cost of €1.13m - and are being installed on 150 buses in Cork, Galway, Limerick and my old home town of Waterford.

Erica Roseingarve, company spokesperson, said she believed the cameras would “pay for themselves” through a reduction of bogus injury claims.

The cameras will monitor 48 million customers and 1,300 drivers annually, but no indication has been given for how long the data can be stored, who has access to it and how it will be handled.

Also, Translink, a Belfast company, has ordered 285 new buses to be fitted with CCTV cameras, costing £40m.

Translink’s Acting Chief Executive Philip O’Neill said: “We are indebted to the Government for having the foresight to allocate further investment into public transport.”

Just how indebted remains to be seen as the increase of possibilities for tracking a persons’ every move becomes truly terrifying.

Are 8 to 10 CCTV cameras per bus a sign that Big Brother is going mad?

U.S. FDA says unmoved by aspartame/cancer report

By Maggie Fox, Health and Science Editor
REUTERS

3:59 p.m. June 25, 2007

WASHINGTON – A U.S. consumer group called for an urgent Food and Drug Administration review of the safety of aspartame Monday, but the FDA said there was no immediate need to do so despite a new study showing the sweetener may cause cancer.
Italian researchers published a new study last week that showed aspartame – widely used in soft drinks – might cause leukemia, lymphoma and breast cancer in rats.

“This is the second study by the same lab showing that aspartame causes cancer in rats,” Center for Science in the Public Interest executive director Michael Jacobson said in a telephone interview.
Aspartame is used mostly in soft drinks but is also sold in packets to use in coffee, tea or on food. “People can easily avoid products using Nutrasweet or Equal and keep these products away from kids,” Jacobson added.

Morando Soffritti of the Ramazzini Foundation in Bologna, Italy and colleagues tested aspartame in rats, which they allowed to live until they died naturally.

Their study of more than 4,000 rats showed a lifetime of eating high doses of the sweetener raised the likelihood of several types of cancer.

“On the basis of the present findings, we believe that a review of the current regulations governing the use of aspartame cannot be delayed,” Soffritti's team wrote in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives, which is published by the U.S. National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

“This review is particularly urgent with regard to aspartame-containing beverages, heavily consumed by children.”

FDA spokesman Michael Herndon said the agency had not yet reviewed the study.

“However, the conclusions from this second European Ramazzini Foundation are not consistent with those from the large number of studies on aspartame that have been evaluated by FDA, including five previously conducted negative chronic carcinogenicity studies,” Herndon said in an e-mail.

“Therefore, at this time, FDA finds no reason to alter its previous conclusion that aspartame is safe as a general purpose sweetener in food.”

LETTING RATS LIVE

Jacobson said researchers in previous studies all killed rats at the age of two years. Allowing the rats to live longer may have been a better way to assess the natural risk of cancer, he said.

The CSPI said the Acceptable Daily Intake of aspartame in the United States is 50 mg per kilogram of body weight, equivalent to a 50-pound child drinking 2.5 cans of diet soda a day, or a 150-pound adult drinking about 7.5 cans a day.

The Italian researchers found a cancer risk at the very highest doses – double the U.S. Acceptable Daily Intake.

A spokesman for Coca-Cola was not immediately available for comment.

Merisant, which makes Equal, has this statement on its Web site: “The safety of aspartame has been confirmed by regulatory authorities in more than 100 countries, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Health Canada, and the European Commission's Scientific Committee on Food, as well as by experts with the United Nations' Food and Agricultural Organization and World Health Organization.”

Jacobson said people should avoid the product for now.

“People shouldn't panic, but they should stop buying beverages and foods containing aspartame,” he advised.

Paris Hilton out of jail

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Hotel heiress Paris Hilton walked out of a Los Angeles-area jail early Tuesday with a big smile on her face after serving 23 days for violating her probation on a reckless driving conviction.
With paparazzi and reporters swarming behind a police barrier, Hilton waved and beamed but ignored shouted questions as she left the jail about 12:15 a.m. PT.
She walked past sheriff's deputies into a sport utility vehicle where her parents waited. (Watch as Hilton walks free )
The media dogged Hilton as she made her getaway, jockeying for position and snapping photos of the socialite for miles along the Los Angeles freeway system.
When her SUV had to stop at a red light, photographers jumped out of their cars and surrounded it, The Associated Press reported. (Blog: Much ado about nothing)
CNN affiliate KTLA-TV in Los Angeles reported that Hilton went to her grandparents' home in the Benedict Canyon area of Beverly Hills.
The 26-year-old multimillionaire was sentenced to 45 days for the 2006 probation violation but served about half the term, gaining credit for good behavior. (Gallery: Stars who have done time)
"She has fulfilled her debt to society and it's now concluded," said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
Hilton is scheduled to give her first post-jail television interview Wednesday on CNN's "Larry King Live" show after ABC and NBC dropped rival offers last week.
The imprisonment -- and temporary release -- of Hilton ignited a global media storm and raised questions about celebrity justice.
Her jail time was sparked by her arrest in September on a drunken-driving charge. (People.com: Full Hilton coverage)
She admitted alcohol-related reckless driving in January and was sentenced to three years' probation but was caught driving the following month on a suspended license. Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer ruled in May this violated her probation.
He rejected Hilton's defense that her publicist had misinformed her about the status of her license.
Hilton surrendered to authorities on June 3 to begin her sentence and spent all 23 days -- bar one -- at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California. (Watch what might be next for Hilton )
'Hardest thing I've ever done'

Three days after Hilton began her jail stay, she was released by the Los Angeles County sheriff to home detention with electronic monitoring because of an unspecified medical condition.
She was at home a little more than a day before the judge ordered her back to jail to complete her sentence. Hilton was led out of the courtroom weeping.
"This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done," she said in a statement. "I have had a lot of time to reflect and have already learned a bitter but important lesson from this experience."
Hilton's probation will end in March 2009, as long as she keeps her driver's license current and doesn't break the law, according to the AP.
The city attorney's office has said she can cut 12 months off that time if she does community service, which could include a public-service announcement, the AP reported.
Nooothing to worry about.

Jobs and Paris
Posted: June, 05, 2007
Being a recent college graduate, there seems to be little to no opportunity out there for good jobs. Everyone keeps talking about how great the economy is yet I cannot find a decent opportunity working with people who aren't complete morons or at a company that is completely incompetent. I know I am very intelligent and it doesn't seem to matter to anyone. All that seems to matter is obedience. It's like they want people who are smart enough to do the job yet dumb enough to not realize how horrible their situation really is.

Also, what is your take on Paris Hilton being sent to jail. She has always been portrayed by the media as the rich girl who can get away with anything, but now she is being treated like a criminal. What is the deal behind this? Thank you Stewart
Stewart's Reply: I have heard this about jobs from all over the world. The blame officially is placed on the outsourcing to India. However, the Illuminati are creating a world of robot-slaves who are to perform their functions and not ask questions.

Paris Hilton is a Monarch icon and apparently, whichever group she represents needs to be placed on hold for a short while. Her jail time is a trigger.

„Even absurd is dat”.

Neen, zeker weten!
