Our previous page was shut down Please share and like the pageSheikh Nabil Naiim is considered to be a historical leader of the Islamic Jihadist movement in Egypt, the same group who committed random acts of violence within the country and announced a war against the Egyptian Government conducting bombings, assassinations, and even direct encounters engaging Egyptian police. Sheikh Nabil Naiim is well known for his direct involvement with the assassination of Egyptian president Anwar Al-Sadat, as well as the attempted assassination of the previous president Husny Mubarak.
He moved from Egypt to Pakistan accompanying Ayman Al-Zawahiri, and there he led the Safwa training camp where the primary Cadres of Al-Quaeda were initiated. There he was introduced to Abdul-Allah Azzam, and Ousama Bin-Laden, and established a close friendship with them.
He then moved to Sudan along with Zawahiri. There he was officially recognized as an Al-Quaeda member when Zawahiri joined them himself. He was then apprehended by the Egyptian authorities in 1994 during his attempt to enter Egypt. There he was engaged in a firefight with the authorities outside Cairo's airport where he sustained a heavy injury to the head. After his treatment, he was tortured and imprisoned in isolation for 10 years.
He wasn't released until Mubarak's regime had fallen. Upon his release he was joined by about 2000 of his loyalists who owed him great believe and respect to his ideology. After contemplating what he used to believe in he adopted rather modest and reasonable principles and abandoned his violence and Takfeer mindset except against Israel.

Hizballah Cavalcade: Breaking Badr, The New Season: Confirmation of the Badr Organization

From May-June, 2013, the Iranian-backed, Iraqi Shia, Badr Organization upped their rhetoric regarding the group’s potential involvement in the Syrian Civil War. This rhetoric resulted in a Hizballah Cavalcade post which attempted to assess whether the group was in fact sending fighters to Syria. Despite their threats, only a few propaganda photos and the death of a possible Badr Organization fighter were available. Thus, the results were inconclusive. Nevertheless, it was still established the group may become more involved in the fighting or that they were preparing a phased approach to publicize Badr’s participation in the fighting.

On July 13th, the group announced via Facebook that it had sent “Over 1,500” militiamen to Syria. By late-July, 2013, the Badr Organization’s Military Wing openly announced it had lost members in Syria and held public funerals for them. According to the Badr Organization Military Wing’s Facebook page, one of these funerals was held in Baghdad. The Badr Organization Military Wing also released one photo which supposedly shows some of their members in Syria.

With the death announcement for one of the Badr Organization’s men came the claim he belonged to “Quwet Shahid al-Sadr” (Forces of the Martyr Sadr). The Forces of the Martyr Sadr is not a separate or new militia operating in Syria. Instead, it is simply the name the Badr Organization has given to the group of its fighters operating in Syria.

Regardless, unlike other Iranian-backed organizations which have increased the amount of photos, videos, and social media announcements since the beginning of July, the Badr Organization has only released limited amounts of information about its forces and operations inside Syria.

Het communisme in Rusland bood een heel goed onderwijsssyteem, goed opgeleide mensen met veel interesse voor cultuur, kunst, wetenschap, een goed sociaal systeem: gratis onderwijs, gratis gezondheidszorg, gratis kinderopvang, goedkoop wonen, een gratis stuk grond (gratis gebruik, nu heeft men er de volle eigendom van gekregen) om een datsja op te bouwen..
Veel van die verworvenheden uit de communistische tijd zijn behouden: gratis gezondheidszorg voor ouderen en minderbedeelden, cultuurcheques voor ouderen, veel sociale voorzieningen voor ouderen (vb. drie weken gratis verblijf in en sanatorium...)

Bij de geboorte van het tweede kind krijgt een gezin een geboortepremie van 300 000 roebel (300 000 BF) en dit voor elk daaropvolgend kind, aangevuld met kinderbijslag. Jonge mensen zijn terug optimistisch en ondernemen.
Ik was de laatste jaren vaak in Rusland en de mensen waarmee ik sprak zijn allen positief over Poetin: hij maakte ten minste een einde aan de graaicultuur van oligarchen, bracht economische en financiële stabiliteit (onder Gorbatchov en nog eens onder Jetsin was er een crash van de banken: mensen verloren veel geld en sommigen pleegden zelfs zelfmoord).
Vooral onder Jeltsin was er het wilde kapitalisme en was miserie troef.

Poetin heeft orde op zaken gesteld en de mensen terug hoop in de toekomst gegeven, getuige ook het hoger geboortecijfer....
De meeste Russen die naar België komen zijn hoogopgeleid, hebben interesse voor cultuur en hun kinderen doen het hier meestal goed op school.

Klopt grotendeels, maar je kunt niet ontkennen dat er erg veel corruptie is, niet minder dan in de Arabische wereld, en dat de situatie in de kleinere steden en op het platteland niet zo rooskleurig is met lonen van amper 200 euro per maand en weinig investeringen. Zelfs in rijke steden als Krasnoyarsk met veel minerale rijkdommen lonen zijn gemiddeld 450 euro per maand. Veel "dom culturi" op het platteland werden gesloten en de infrastructuur nog altijd niet op het niveau van de jaren 80. Maar als je vergelijkt met de jaren 90, kijkt naar de algemene situatie en het buitenlands beleid kun je niet anders dan zeggen dat Putin een goede job gedaan heeft. Het Westen had veel liever gehad dat Rusland een "beggar state" was gebleven zoals onder Yeltsin, dan een zelfverzekerde grootmacht. Ook moet je weten dat de levensstandaard in Rusland niet moet onderdoen voor EU lidstaten als Bulgarije of RoemeniË, en beter is dan in bvb. Oekraïne of Georgië.

The Russian foreign minister's statements on Syria are without substance – no massacre of Kurdish civilians

According to the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, 450 Kurdish civilians were killed by fighters for the Islamist Jabhat an Nusrah last Monday. Siamend Hajo, a KurdWatch staff member, doubts these numbers:
»Here Lawrow is adopting the propaganda of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Syrian-Kurdish branch of the PKK. For weeks the PYD has claimed that Islamist units of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have been targeting attacks on Kurdish civilians. Our local informants do not confirm such attacks«.
Indeed, there is fighting between the PYD's militia, the so-called People's Defense Units (YPG), and various Islamist units, in which civilians have also been killed. However, the conflicts in many cases are provoked by the YPG, not vice versa according to independent activists from the combat zones near al Qahtaniyah (Tirbesipî), ʿAyn al ʿArab (Kobanî), and Raʾs al ʿAyn (Serê Kaniyê). The high number of (civilian) casualties is also unconfirmed.
The moment in which the conflicts between the PYD and Islamist units began is anything but coincidental. At the end of June, the PYD attacked demonstrators in ʿAmudah who were protesting against the PYD's kidnapping of independent activists. At least six people were killed, dozens of activists were kidnapped and tortured, and the offices of other Kurdish parties, as well as youth and cultural centers were burned down.
»The incidents in ʿAmudah represent the peak of the PYD's totalitarian policies of repression in the Kurdish regions thus far and have cost the PYD no small amount of sympathy among the Kurdish population. The PYD wants to regain this sympathy by presenting itself as the only power that is acting against the alleged Islamist attacks on the Kurdish population«, said Siamend Hajo. The fact that the PYD still has not broken with the regime of Bashar al Assad—a position which it shares with the Russian foreign minister—also must not be forgotten when assessing current events:
»Just today, an activist from ʿAyn al ʿArab reported to us that the PYD and its militia are protecting landing sites there that are used by Syrian helicopters. There are numerous other examples of cooperation between the regime and the PYD. In light of this cooperation, the Free Syrian Army and its Islamist supporters have no choice but to view the PYD and its militia as opponents. The Islamist groups that fight with the FSA against the regime and in some cases against PYD units are brutal butchers, but they are not specifically targeting the Kurdish population. To the contrary, it is not currently in their interest to establish a second front that will weaken them in their fight against the regime.

De PYD werkt samen met de Assad troepen dus mogen we ze niet geloven, daar komt het op neer. Ze ontkennen de moorden alvast niet, ze beweren alleen dat ze nog niet bevestigd zijn door hun eigen informanten wat natuurlijk logisch is.

Dan maken ze de interne Koerdische strubbelingen duidelijk en maken die ene groep zwart omdat ze zelf martelen en moorden, niets nieuw dus aan beide kanten.

Koerden merken dat de oppositie hen erger behandelt dan Assad, en ze komen in opstand. Dat, in combinatie met de volksprotesten die in door al nusra bezet gebied gehouden worden, de berichten over grootschalige moordpartijen en de constante slachtingen en afrekeningen tussen de verschillende rebellengroepen, en je krijgt al een beeld van hoe Syrië eruit zou zien moest Assad vallen... zoals Libië na Khadafi, maar dan in het groot.
