There are psychological effects of fasting as well. There is a peace and tranquility for those who fast during the month of Ramadan. Personal hostility is at a minimum, and the crime rate decreases. This psychological improvement could be related to better stabilization of blood glucose during fasting as hypoglycemia after eating, aggravates behavior changes.

Recitation of the Quran not only produces a tranquility of heart and mind, but improves the memory. Therefore, I encourage my Muslim patients to fast in the month of Ramadan, but they must do it under medical supervision. Healthy adult Muslims should not fear becoming weak by fasting, but instead it should improve

Last 10 days and Laylat al-Qadr

In the last 10 days of Ramadaan is the blessed night of Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Decree and Honour - sometimes incorrectly translated as 'Night of Power'), which every Muslim is encouraged to seek out because during this night the angels descend to earth with goodness, mercy and blessings. The Zaboor (Pslams) was sent down on the eighteenth of Ramadaan, and the Qur'an was sent down on the twenty-fourth of Ramadaan. "

Dit is een uitmuntend staaltje van islamitisch sofisme. Slaven van Allah die zondigen tegen ... zichzelf. Dus moslims zondigen niet tegen Allah maar tegen zichzelf. Maar desalniettemin: Allah vergeeft alle zonden want hij is zeer vergevingsgezind. Hoe kan Allah nu zonden vergeven die Hem helemaal niet aangaan? Wat een belachelijke farce is dit. Sofistisch geneuzel van de hoogste orde.
