After the bodies of three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped by Hamas militants from Hebron were uncovered yesterday near Halhul, the occupied West Bank, racist attacks against Palestinians have been on the rise. Two protests, each attended by hundreds of people, took place in Jerusalem where mobs chanted again and again “Revenge!”, “Death to Arabs”, and “Jews are good [literally, "souls"], Arabs and sons of whores”.

A new facebook page titled “The People of Israel Demand Revenge“, managed to gain over 32,000 “likes” in about 24 hours.Young Israelis post photos of themselves on this page calling for revenge against Palestinians. Among those young Israelis are soldiers, many of them from units that serve in the occupied Palestinian territories. All the photos in this post were taken from that facebook page. Expressing political opinion and taking photos inside army bases is strictly prohibited under IDF rules, which it the reason most of the soldiers covered or didn’t show their faces.

Operatie Herodes is jaren geleden opgestart, eerst met kinderen te laten samen komen in wapenarsenalen van Hamas, volgende stap was ze laten samen komen op de locaties waar Hamas raketten afvuurt op israel. Doel was zoveel mogelijk kinderslachtoffers bij een actie van israel.

Eerste grote test was de moord op Mohammad al-Doura . De twaalfjarige jongen neergeschoten in de armen van zijn vader. Hamas schiet zelf de jongen dood, maar met behulp van een "gemanipuleerde" video aan france 2 werd israel beschuldigt en kreeg Hamas wereldwijde steun. (financieel en moreel)

Financiele en morele steun is/was ook de beweegreden voor de "opoffering" van Mohammed Abu Khdair. Wereldwijd word israel weer verguist. En financieel een opsteker voor Hamas, het Algerijnse wereldbeker voetbal team heeft hun premies van 12.000.000 euro al geschonken. Tegelijkertijd verplaats men de focus.

Ter info, er bestaat ook een meer jaren plan in operatie herodes, het brainwashen van de kinderen via "educatieve" tv. Voorbeeld daarvan is het "hamas konijn Assud".
