Activists say that fighters from the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) have taken control of Syria's largest oil field, near the border with Iraq.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says that the extremist group captured Al-Omar oil field in eastern Deir al-Zor province Thursday after fighters belonging to a rival group, the Al-Qaeda-linked Nusra Front, left without firing a bullet.

Al Qaeda leaves east Syria strongholds to Islamic State

Fighters from al Qaeda's Nusra Front withdrew from two towns in eastern Syria on Thursday, leaving most of the border province of Deir al-Zor under the control of advancing forces of the Islamic State, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

It said the Nusra Front pulled out of Mayadin and Shuhail, the group's regional stronghold, while local tribal fighters had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, which has also swept through Sunni Muslim provinces in Iraq.

The Observatory, a British-based monitoring group, said the Islamic State, previously called the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), now controls an area of Syria five times the size of neighbouring Lebanon.

“I cannot fix a date right now but it’s a question of months,” Barzani said about a referendum, adding it was up to the Kurdish parliament to decide on the date.



“I have said many times that independence is a natural right of the people of Kurdistan. All these developments (in Iraq) reaffirm that, and from now on we will not hide that the goal of Kurdistan is independence,” he told the BBC.

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) released on Thursday 31 Kurdish and Turkish truck drivers from Turkey it had taken hostage on the first day of their attack on Mosul last month.

Before boarding a flight at Erbil international airport to return home, one of the drivers told Rudaw, “We always knew that the ISIS wouldn’t kill us.”

“The ISIS didn’t torture us,” he said. “They kept saying that we were brothers and they gave us good food.”

The drivers were rounded up by the ISIS fighters on June 10 in Mosul and held in an old US army base near the city, according to one of the drivers.

“We were never worried about being killed,” said one driver at Erbil airport. “We were scared only the first day.”

Ibrahim Shekhallah, the mayor of Makhmur—a Kurdish town between Erbil and Mosul—told Rudaw that the truck drivers were handed over to Turkish consulate officials in his town from where they were taken to the airport to be sent home.

“They [ISIS] didn’t pressure us or anything,” said one driver. “The only thing was that the air [in the base] was very hot.”

Al-Qaeda’s Seven Point Plan

# The First Phase Known as “the awakening” — this has already been carried out and was supposed to have lasted from 2000 to 2003, or more precisely from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York and Washington to the fall of Baghdad in 2003. The aim of the attacks of 9/11 was to provoke the US into declaring war on the Islamic world and thereby “awakening” Muslims. “The first phase was judged by the strategists and masterminds behind al-Qaida as very successful,” writes Hussein. “The battle field was opened up and the Americans and their allies became a closer and easier target.” The terrorist network is also reported as being satisfied that its message can now be heard “everywhere.”

# The Second Phase “Opening Eyes” is, according to Hussein’s definition, the period we are now in and should last until 2006. Hussein says the terrorists hope to make the western conspiracy aware of the “Islamic community.” Hussein believes this is a phase in which al-Qaida wants an organization to develop into a movement. The network is banking on recruiting young men during this period. Iraq should become the center for all global operations, with an “army” set up there and bases established in other Arabic states.

# The Third Phase This is described as “Arising and Standing Up” and should last from 2007 to 2010. “There will be a focus on Syria,” prophesies Hussein, based on what his sources told him. The fighting cadres are supposedly already prepared and some are in Iraq. Attacks on Turkey and — even more explosive — in Israel are predicted. Al-Qaida’s masterminds hope that attacks on Israel will help the terrorist group become a recognized organization. The author also believes that countries neighboring Iraq, such as Jordan, are also in danger.

# The Fourth Phase Between 2010 and 2013, Hussein writes that al-Qaida will aim to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments. The estimate is that “the creeping loss of the regimes’ power will lead to a steady growth in strength within al-Qaida.” At the same time attacks will be carried out against oil suppliers and the US economy will be targeted using cyber terrorism.

# The Fifth Phase This will be the point at which an Islamic state, or caliphate, can be declared. The plan is that by this time, between 2013 and 2016, Western influence in the Islamic world will be so reduced and Israel weakened so much, that resistance will not be feared. Al-Qaida hopes that by then the Islamic state will be able to bring about a new world order.

# The Sixth Phase Hussein believes that from 2016 onwards there will a period of “total confrontation.” As soon as the caliphate has been declared the “Islamic army” it will instigate the “fight between the believers and the non-believers” which has so often been predicted by Osama bin Laden.

# The Seventh Phase This final stage is described as “definitive victory.” Hussein writes that in the terrorists’ eyes, because the rest of the world will be so beaten down by the “one-and-a-half billion Muslims,” the caliphate will undoubtedly succeed. This phase should be completed by 2020, although the war shouldn’t last longer than two years.

The Muslim smuggling is a 10,000,000 euro business. The best Muslim smuggling operations provide the forged documents and transportation in the utmost discretion.


In the recent years, the proliferation of Muslim candidates for exile from Africa has lead to a succession of tragedies that have claimed the lives of thousands of Muslim invaders. Many make-shift boats from Libya, Egypt, or Tunisia have been wrecked before reaching the shores of Europe in the Italian coast, while others have luckily sunk off Spain. Furthermore, crossing the Sahara has claimed its share of Black Muslim invaders of Europe.


Regardless of these various ways, a huge number of Muslim invaders manage to reach France through its overseas territories. Mayotte, Guayana and Guadeloupe have faced massive Muslim invasion for several years.

In 2009 France deported over 29,000 Muslim invaders.

Zou mijn droom eindelijk in vervulling gaan?? Alle moslims die hier doodongelukkig zijn omdat ze gedurig geconfronteerd worden met onze verwerpelijke cultuur en zelfs aangemaand worden om te werken voor ongelovigen mogen voor mijn part vandaag nog naar het land van belofte vertrekken. Omdat ze een klein dorpje in Tikrit na een week hebben kunnen terugnemen? Op die week tijd is Irak meer grond en belangrijke infrastructuur kwijtgespeeld.

Het regeringsoffensief tegen Tikrit verloopt overigens niet zo vlot. Op de eerste dag van de tegenaanval konden Iraakse commando's bij verrassing de universiteit die iets buiten de stad ligt, innemen, maar ondanks hevige gevechten schiet het offensief niet echt op.

Poetin heeft vandaag Obamah gefeliciteerd met de nationale feestdag en hij riep op tot samenwerking Rusland -Amerika.
Natuurlijk is dat bedoeld richting ISIS en andere moslimradicalen.
De bondgenootschappen veranderen in korte tijd in die regio.
