Laat ons de zaken eens vanop afstand bekijken en naar de gedragingen der mensen kijken.Tenslotte wordt beweerd ,door de "grote meerderheid van Wetenschap en politiek" nietwaar,dat het bewezen is,en dat het gedrag der mensen invloed heeft op het klimaat....middels het medium "CO2-gehalte".


Te beginnen vlak voor mijn eigen deur bemerk ik geen sikkenpit,geen sikkenpit zeg ik U,van veranderend gedrag....niet bij de "burger",niet bij diens vertegenwoordigers.....van niemand....

Heel raar,want het grootste deel van die burgers stemt politici die "bekeerd" schijnen te zijn.

Enkel wat geldstromen uit algemene middelen zijn verlegd.....naar.......dingen die de CO2-uitstoot niet noemenswaardig vertragen...

Central Pollution Control Board pushes for ban on diesel cars in Delhi

The 2007 report recommended a ban on the use of diesel in personal transport vehicles in the Capital.

A bench presided over by Justice Aftab Alam, commonly referred to as the forest bench, told CPCB counsel Vijay Panjwani that his request would be considered during the next hearing on Monday.

The report, which has also proposed a restriction on entry of diesel vehicles in the Capital from other states, stressed that the pollution caused by diesel cars in 2007 in Delhi was equivalent to adding "particulate emissions from nearly 30,000 diesel buses".

"EPCA is concerned that this increase in private diesel cars, encouraged by cheaper diesel fuel, is now threatening to negate the benefits of the compressed natural programme in the city," the report said.

With Kabir expressing concern over the rise in the level of smog, Panjwani had, on November 6, told the court that it was because of the increase in the number of diesel vehicles.

Panjwani had also written to the registry to list the matter concerning the EPCA report before the forest bench. He mentioned the matter before the bench after it was not listed for hearing on Friday.

In its report, the EPCA had stated that diesel cars in the capital had increased by nearly 425 per cent in the last decade.

According to press reports, the Delhi state government has been considering a ban on sales of diesel cars in the India capital to bring down emission levels. This move is opposed by the Association of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (AIAM).

AIAM said the government role should be to stipulate stringent emission regulations and provide requisite high quality fuels. The route to achieve the emission standards should be left to the industry. AIAM also said that pollution in Delhi was caused by a lack of adequate public transport, as well as inadequate traffic planning causing traffic jams and concentration of pollution.

AIAM estimated that 30,000 diesel cars were sold in India in 1997/98 (April-March) out of a total of 401,0022 cars. Even though only 8% of the diesel cars produced were sold in Delhi, AIAM fears that if one state government banned diesel cars, many others would follow suit.

Indian car manufacturers have been investing heavily in dieselisation programs. The diesel fuel is sold at subsidised rates in India to power the transport sector. A liter of gasoline normally costs 2.5 times more than a liter of diesel fuel.

AIAM said it had proposed several joint initiatives with the government to ensure better fuel quality and better emission inspection for diesel vehicles.

Beijing’s Bad Air Would Be Step Up for Smoggy Delhi

NEW DELHI — In mid-January, air pollution in Beijing was so bad that the government issued urgent health warnings and closed four major highways, prompting the panicked buying of air filters and donning of face masks. But in New Delhi, where pea-soup smog created what was by some measurements even more dangerous air, there were few signs of alarm in the country’s boisterous news media, or on its effervescent Twittersphere.

Despite Beijing’s widespread reputation of having some of the most polluted air of any major city in the world, an examination of daily pollution figures collected from both cities suggests that New Delhi’s air is more laden with dangerous small particles of pollution, more often, than Beijing’s. Lately, a very bad air day in Beijing is about an average one in New Delhi.

The United States Embassy in Beijing sent out warnings in mid-January, when a measure of harmful fine particulate matter known as PM2.5 went above 500, in the upper reaches of the measurement scale, for the first time this year. This refers to particulate matter less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter, which is believed to pose the greatest health risk because it penetrates deeply into lungs.

Daily peak density of PM2.5, a harmful particulate matter. The World Health Organization recommends a daily mean exposure limit of 25 micrograms per cubic meter.

But for the first three weeks of this year, New Delhi’s average daily peak reading of fine particulate matter from Punjabi Bagh, a monitor whose readings are often below those of other city and independent monitors, was 473, more than twice as high as the average of 227 in Beijing. By the time pollution breached 500 in Beijing for the first time on the night of Jan. 15, Delhi had already had eight such days. Indeed, only once in three weeks did New Delhi’s daily peak value of fine particles fall below 300, a level more than 12 times the exposure limit recommended by the World Health Organization.

Ik bezorg u, die graag diffamatie pleegt over "bedreigende skeptici" (o.a. in verband met hun persoonlijke geloofsovertuiging, ...), hierbij enige duiding bij het heerschap Jean-Pascal van Yperzele die thans voorgedragen wordt door de Belgische regering voor het voorzitterschap van het IPCC.

Uiteraard post u dit stante pede in uw bash-blogje, aangezien u claimt niets dan de waarheid te verkondigen.

Jean-Pascal van Yperzele heeft de eer zich een verdediger van de Rwandese genocide en zijn moordende leiders te mogen noemen.

Of hoe we steeds dichter en dichter bij de ware aard van de NAZI-AGW-elite komen.
