Leninium Bombs

This document was recovered from a top secret file which, like many of the other secrets lurking behind the iron curtain, surfaced with the collapse of the Soviet Union. With the inevitable influx of U.S. spies, most of the known installations were turned from top to bottom, and delicate information was found, including this piece of research carried out by Soviet nuclear scientists at the beginning of the 1980s. With the advent of Chernobyl, the research was terminated, sighted as being an unjustifiable use of resources- a fate suffered by many research programs following Gorbachev’s appointment. But it does provide a worrying insight into what new kind of weapon with being developed on the far side of the Urals.

The following document has been roughly translated, with notes as appropriate.

Results from testing phase 1 to 5 of the Leninium bomb

Philosophy after the L-bomb period-faze 1

Based on the fact that the Human brain works with electrical signals.
Combined with the successful tests with radio and microwaves to influence the brain.

We have devised a new and glorious weapon for our forces.

The Leninium Bomb ,a weapon not killing the opposing forces ,but turning these into blanc shells.
Rendering these pacified and useable for future purposes to Our Great Nation.


Tests with political undesirable persons have proven the theories that we can manipulate the brain of human beings with radio- and microwaves over considerable distances.
The effects range from a mild state of happiness or contentment to psychical death, not always resulting in physical death.

The benign range can be used to influence the opposition to comply with our superb plans.

The other end of the range ,physical death is military undesirable, wounded forces are more resource-draining and tie up more manpower. Also ,physical death is more easily dealt with conventional means.
As mentioned ,psychical death ,not resulting in physical death is more useful for the military but also for humanitarian purposes.

Later tests with the “tabula rasa personalities” led us to a quick way to restore this person ,him becoming in many ways a more useful member of society.See also Document 7.41



Practical tests -Faze 2

The preliminary findings are based on individual tests.
Not every test subject reacted in the same way on certain wave compositions.
1 wave type is useable for 70% of the test subjects ,without variation in the results.
70% survives as a “T R P” and can be indoctrinated with an electronic device” the imprinter”, see attached file 7 bis.
The other 30% doesn’t survive the pulse ,as too many brain functions close down.
Unfortunately ,the aperture needed to emit this wave type is large and requires a tremendous amount of power. Rendering the technology unusual on the battlefield to date.

For the more subtle applications like the “happybeam” (literal translation: “Care-free inducing waves”) smaller devices are in use ,but the tuning towards a person takes more time. The results are also less consistent.




Advanced tests -Faze 3

Practical field testing with the “happy beam” brings some unexpected and unpleasant surprises.
When test subjects are tuned in for extended periods:
10% develops a mental shield to render the soothing and pacifying effects nihil.
50% become violent and uncontrollable, intensifying the beam is only temporal.
When shut off ,most of the “berserkers” go dangerously crazy, and wreak as much havoc as possible, resulting in the disposal of the subject.
20% are effectively addicted and can’t function without a continuous low level of waves.
These go catatonic when shut of from the transmissions. After a prolonged time of “rest” these subjects are “T R P’s” in reaction of the deprivation.
The rest of the tests have 1 result ,catatonia followed by a quick and silent dead.

Advice ,use sparingly on people with potential.

The “T R P” wave level program is on hold due the high cost and power usage.


Large scale non lethal tests -Faze 4

Further testing of broad band wave-emitters on larger groups of subjects are giving unsatisfactory results.
A test program to create a crowd control device has produced the following results.

The masses in several political demonstrations were treated and observed.
(note from the translator, political opponents and demonstrators were considered mentally ill in the area where the inventions originated)

None of the tests were successful ,as the broad band waves aren’t tuned in per subject as in the “happy beam” tests.
Only a small portion of the mass reacted like predicted and left or tried to halt the demonstration, calling the anger of the other subjects on them.
Another percentage reacted like “berserker” even increasing the hazard and misguidance of the demonstration.
After a 15000 subjects demonstration treated with low level pacifying beams 160 dead without physical markings are counted for.

As crowd control the wave-emitters are a failure.

The advantages of the Leninium Bomb compared to the neutron Bomb.



To explain the function of the Leninium bomb a short text concerning the basic neutron bomb is added to this transcription.


Neutron Bomb.

In essence a neutron Bomb is a small-in kiloton yield range-Hydrogen bomb equipped with a special mantle ,to achieve an immense neutron component burst.

The main advantage of this type of bomb is that physical damage to property and materials is minimized ,but combative and civilian forces are dead or dying in time spans ranging -depending on distance to detonation point- from instant to several weeks. Even the slow dying forces are essential out of the fight after a few hours.


Disadvantages ,even after the pacifying the cleaning is a large undertaking. The hazard is mainly medical, the diseases spreading from the corpses.
The longer living casualties have time to prepare the area ,sowing it with booby traps and other dangers for our occupying forces.


Leninium bomb

The Leninium bomb is a further developed system based on the Neutron bomb.
The same basic idea ,but the Leninium mantle doesn’t emit a immense neutron pulse.
After the detonation the bomb emits a specific combination of radio and microwaves ,not killing, but immobilizing the forces in the targeted area.
The effective range is slightly smaller than from a similar yield neutron bomb.

The advantage in the Leninium bomb is twofold.

First ,the main disadvantages of the neutron bomb are eliminated ,no medical hazard ,or prepared areas.
The second is the ready to indoctrinate force.
